Just out of the kiln...my newest free formed dish, measuring 2 inches deep and 8 inches wide...created using recycled remnant glass...please note the spiral design on the back of the dish..
Hello, my name is Karin (KC) and I am a multi-media artist, art educator and musician residing on the beautiful Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay.
As a multi-media artist, I am drawn to eclecticism...I love working with glass, paints, pencils, printmaking, pastels, recycled materials & wire working. I am also always happy to create commissioned pieces...and have an extensive portrait portfolio.
As an educator, I teach K5 - 8th grade classroom art, and also teach at various area summer art camps.
As a musician, I am blessed to work with my husband, a most gifted and talented musician, who writes and arranges our music.
My art has been featured in many galleries and stores, including: The Mobile Museum of Art, The Mobile Arts Council, The Eastern Shore Art Center, Best Friends Gallery and The Frame Corner as well as the Grand Hotel in Point Clear, The Gallery House, The Shop Around The Corner in Fairhope, Alabama, and Fanfare - The The Mobile Symphony Orchestra Store and Misty's Gourmet Pantry.
I have a B.S. in Liberal & Fine Arts, and am an active member in The National and Alabama Art Education Associations as well as the local Bay Area Art Educators Association.
Thank you for visiting, and feel free to contact me at: Karin.
